Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Canal-style earphones with large speaker and flexible elastomer hanger

The HS200 canal type headphones have been specially designed and developed for music loving athletes. A common disadvantage to canal headphones for sport use was it can easily slip out from your ear due to its compactness. HS200 overcomes this problem by adding a flexible elastomer hanger, which makes the headphones stay firmly and comfortably attached to your ear. Moreover the hanger works as an absorber to minimize the cord touch noise while running.

The larger the speaker unit, the better the sound quality. In order to equip a large size speaker driver of 12.4mm diameter, HS200 has a unique construction of Side mount Speakers. Unlike ordinary headphones, the driver units are mounted sideways of the headphone frame, this is the only solution to equip a large speaker in such a compact body. The newly developed large speaker ensures rich mid-high sound range and deep tight base sound.

The ultimate sports headphones come in 5 active colours and are water resistant so it will be protected from sweat or weather conditions.

Okay, first of all my experience with ear/headphones; I've had two pair of Shures (one costing well over £200), two pair of Grados (approx £100 each) and two pair of Sennheiser. All fairly expensive sets that you expect great things from. Now, anyone that buys a cheap set, like these Panasonics, and says the sounds not great. Well, to be honest, you're stating what is bound to be the obvious. What I can say is, the sound is okay at this price. Also, (and most importantly) they stay on my ear and have continued working despite me having sweat into them a lot. Make sure the bud is a snug fit in the ear. If you choose the wrong size and it comes loose at all you'll be short on bass -vital for any workout playlist!.

These ear phones are great. I bought them to use with my iPod when I'm running and am in the gym. They are comfortable, stay on my ears (the ones that came with the iPod were always falling out) and provide a good clear sound.

I wanted some over the ear headphones to wear while out running or at the gym as I'd heard that they stay in place. I also wanted them to be in-ear so I can wear them on the train and block out annoying people chatting on their mobile phones. These fit the bill perfectly and they're so comfortable, you can't even feel them.

I wouldn't exactly call myself a soundaphile, but the sound quality is good, too.

I'm enjoying using these headphones, however they aren't perfect.

The Bad: These are not sweat proof as claimed, during prolong runs (particularly interval training), one or both the headphones tend to become very quiet (if left for a while they dry out and regain their volume). Secondly during sprinting or fast passed runs, the socket rubbing against your leg can sometimes create a static noise in the ear phones, effecting sound quality (has become less prevalent the more I use them).

The Good: They stay in extremely well and are very comfortable to wear. The sound quality is great and you can easily forget your wearing them. On a final note the noise cancelling although not perfect is sufficient enough to allow for blocking out most ambient noise while still remaining safe for out door running.

The Neutral: The cord for the headphones is extremely long, some people may find this advantageous or disadvantageous.

These headphones fit very comfortably and provide good quality sound. They come with 3 different sizes of ear piece attachment which is a good idea. They were on offer when I bought them and thus they were extremely good value. When not in use can be 'stored' in very little space. Haven't tested the water- resistant claim. I am very pleased with my purchase - use them at the gym a lot!

Perfect fit in ears, a little bit to much of cable, some solution for cable would be nice. Regarding sound, you getting what you had paid for, average quality, but enough for everyday commuting to work.

Received them yesterday and tested them in the gym. They are great, comfortable and provide a very good isolation. Run for 45 minutes and forgot I was wearing them. Quality sound is very good too, deep bass and clear treble, more than enough for listening music doing sport. My only minor complaint is that the cord is too large for me as I have an armband for my mp3 player. Other than that, excellent.

The sound quality is quite good but the reason I bought these was to have a secure fitting headphone when running and in this respect they fail miserably. They constantly move about in my ear when running. There are three different fittings which don't really make any difference. There not a bad headphone unless you are buying them for sports(which is what their advertised as).
