The new CHEM15 is an ultra-advanced mini HDMI Ethernet cable designed to connect digital audio/video sources, such as small video camcorders and digital cameras, to digital televisions and computers. It complies with new features incorporated in the last HDMI specification version 1.4, such as HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC), Audio Return Channel (ARC), Full HD 3D and 4k x 2k resolution. For cutting-edge digital formats like Full HD 3D and 4k x 2k, even minor noise emissions from a cable can affect picture/sound quality via their highly integrated circuits. To correct this, the new CHEM15 has added a steel noise shield to its existing triple layers of shielded cable line, seamlessly covering cable ends and blocking noise leakage.

I've been trying out my new Panasonic video camera and was having difficulty trying to get the pictures onto my Panasonic TV. I tried putting the SD card into the TV but it wouldn't read it. In desparation I read the handbook, and it mentioned leads, HDMI mini cable (RP-CDHM15). I looked these up on Amazon and found they were £38. It also mentioned that there was a newer version RP-CHEM15E-K which were £18. Guess which ones I opted for. Yes the cheaper ones. I plugged the video into the TV and wow it worked straight away with no fiddling about at all.
