Useful, quiet VCR but suffers from the same handicap as many other Panasonic models: after a few years the tracking circuit goes, making your tapes unwatchable. As Panasonic apparently don't supply spares for this problem it renders your machine unusable. I have had two, and both 'self-destructed' in this manner after 5 years, and an average use of one hour per day.
