I purchased a Panasonic NN-CT569MMBPQ from Amazon on about 6th September 2010. It was efficiently delivered by Amazon, (as usual) and with the exception that the mains cable in my opinion is too short, (About 70cm) I was very pleased with the oven until 28th September 2010 when oven light failed. Things went "down hill" quickly from here. I was then very surprised to find out that the oven must be returned to a Panasonic dealer for the light to be changed, (Cannot be done by public or even by a service visit because microwave leakage tests are required after stripping down the oven to change the light!) Panasonic Customer Care told me that the lamp was not covered by their guarantee, would not supply a figure for lamp life and said that there was not a standard Panasonic charge for changing the lamp. The charge was left to the Panasonic dealer to set. I understand that the oven light is not solid state and so in time can be expected to fail again. Although in this instance Panasonic Customer Care agreed to replace the bulb at no cost to myself the local Panasonic dealer, given to me by Panasonic Customer Care did not readily agree with this, (Because I had not bought the oven from him). After a lot of distasteful phone calls, a lot of miles driving the oven to and from the Panasonic dealership and over a week without a microwave oven (The dealer had to send to Panasonic for a replacement bulb!) I finally got the oven back. Its now 31 Jan 2011 and since this unfortunate incedent I am glad to report the oven has worked faultlessly and is excellent. Unfortunately next time the lamp fails I will have to make a distasteful decision - replace the bulb or replace the microwave with a new one! The design of this oven hardly compies with the spirit of modern "Green" thinking and minimisation of landfill. In all respects very poor Panasonic and very poor our elected leaders who let Panasonic get away with this!
