Panasonic's revolutionary Eco Max motor saves you time and effort by picking up more dirt and dust whilst using power far more efficiently. The motor has a 3D inducer fan which generates superior suction power, and a dynamic air stream for excellent cleaning, producing outstanding results with less energy.
A unique filter refresher system ensures the filter works effectively for longer. Panasonic vacuum cleaners use 'HEPA' filters which have a micro-thin membrane to trap dust and dirt on the surface, while allowing air to pass through more efficiently. This reduces the chances of clogging and offers superior cleaning and durability to normal filters.
The upright vacuum cleaners have a fully reclining body, making it easy to vacuum under beds and furniture - so no more crouching down on all fours to clean under the sofa - simply tilt the vacuum cleaner back and glide over the floor into the tightest of spaces.
Over cleaning one area of carpet can be harmful to the fibres. The auto beater bar stop immediately cuts out the nozzle motor when the cleaner is in the upright position to save energy and remove any chance of damage to your carpet.
With a longer hose, you can reach further without having to move the vacuum cleaner's main body. So when you're cleaning a corner of the room or up the staircase, you can do so more easily. In fact, our hose will stretch to over 13 stairs - which makes cleaning the whole house effortless.

DHL delivered this machine from Mekasa before the email advising despatch arrived. It was well packed. The instructions on assembly were easy to follow and in a very short time it was on its test run. I was amazed at how much dust and fluff it picked up on a recently vacuumed carpet. I have now used the machine in several rooms and its performance continues to be brilliant. It seems to restore depth to the carpets which you can feel underfoot. At first I found the fact that the tools are mounted on the cleaner slightly cumbersome but it's very handy. Having all the accessories to hand means they can be quickly and easily used as and when needed. There is a good long cord. Having filled the dust bin emptying was simple and mess-free and cleaning the filters equally so. It is somewhat heavy but this to me indicates a solidly made machine. The tools also perform efficiently. Can't comment on stair cleaning as I live in a bungalow. Overall a first-class machine that delivers excellent performance at a sensible price.

Simply the best hoover I've ever bought. It is powerful and solidly built. With 4 dogs it needs to be good and it is. Picks up pet hair easily. Easy to empty and with good tools on board. Cable length is reasonable so not too much changing sockets. Hose length is reasonable too but won't reach up a full flight of stairs easily. On the down side it is a bit heavy but if you want solidly built quality, that is the price to be paid. This is much better than my old Dyson and half the price.

Warning - avoid this unless you're happy to buy replacement filters (£40+) at least once a year

You won't see this mentioned anywhere in the advertising, and dealers/websites won't mention it either (even, in our case, when we asked a specific question).
But the manual makes it very clear that if the cleaner is to continue to function properly you'll have to replace the Exhaust Filter 'at least once a year'. In a larger house that's going to be two or three times a year. These filters cost £6.99 each with postage.
But it gets worse - a lot worse. Having discussed this with Panasonic, it becomes clear that the Dust Compartment Filter also has to be changed (probably once a year). These cost a staggering £34.61 each with postage.
Each of these filters has been deliberately designed so that it cannot be cleaned or washed. That means replacement is unavoidable.
So your nice new Panasonic cleaner is going to cost you somewhere around £40 a year (and quite possibly more than that) just to replace the filters that have been designed so that you can't clean them. Thanks, Panasonic - for not caring about the environment with your filters that can only be thrown away and replaced with new ones. And for putting your profits ahead of customer care and the environment (despite all the grand-sounding claims about Green Design on your website).
After 30+ years of buying Panasonic products, this one's now going back for a refund. And I'll take a lot of convincing before buying any more Panasonic products after this let-down.

Died after 14 months
