Spent some time thinking about this ~ should I get the VBN130 or VBN260??
As I had purchased the camera from Amazon and had the £60 to spend offer both would be a bargain. I've used a video camera now for 12 years and it's not often I need 1.5 hours (weddings maybe).
made up a card replica of the large unit and when using the viewfinder (the main reason I bought the camera) it was awkward as it protrudes out under the viewfinder extension.
So I bought this smaller unit, excellent as a backup to the one supplied. But you need to remember to switch and recharge the battery your using.

Not much to say about this product really...what it says it does. Lasts for over 2 hours and is robust and quick to charge. Great stuff

After buying the Panasonic SD900 I realised I would need a second Battery & I'm glad I bought this one, the same as originally supplied, as due to the Camcorder having a viewfinder as well as a screen the larger version sticks out from behind the unit and makes the viewfinder (my preference in use) harder to use and not as comfortable, Amazon's price was another factor as it was much cheaper than going to our local retailer - delivery, although the Battery came well within the time limits given I find this "3 to 7 working days" business a bit of a bind as I am sure many will who have to make arrangements to have goods received at home. There is not a lot you can say about a genuine Panasonic Battery other than it is 100% compatible and not likely to damage your valuable Camcorder.

Battery value for money
Bought this battery (Panasonic Lithium Ion Camcorder, 7,2 V, 1250 mAh) for 52,52 and I think it's a very good buy.

Perfectly satisfactory
I did not expect any issues with a genuine Panasonic battery and this was the case, performed as well as the original battery supplied with my camcorder.

Cold weather conditions
I took two of these batteries to Greenland recently and they managed the temperature of -35c well.Had no problems with them.

Does the job
This battery works fine and is the Panasonic manufactured one, so is quite expensive but is the same as the one that comes with the camera. No problems.

Does the job but oh the price,
Much too expensive but it's a battery and works perfectly. Looses a star because Panasonic are proteering on this product.
