I earlier purchased some cheaper 'BD-R blank discs' from another manufacturer, but 3 out of the 10 I bought were faulty. I decided to go back to Panasonic and am well pleased, as they perform well and have 50 years archive life! They cost a tiny amount more but make this up in quality.
I recently brought a Panasonic Blu-ray recorder, to make disks of various HD video projects I have made over the last 3 years. I have researched write once blu-ray media for some time, including pricing which is too high on the high street from the usual sellers, so I looked at the on-line sellers, as unit costs per disk go, which can vary greatly even on-line, but to save time and headaches, buy from a trusted stable source, like Amazon UK, so I bought the Panasonic LM-BRS2LWE10 25GB Write Once Blu-ray media 1-4 speed, spindle pack of 10. Less than half price of the high street when I bought them, but prices are starting to come down now in certain sellers in the high street. So far I have used 5 of these discs on my Panasonic Freesat twin tuner recorder and have found them very good, no problems at all, extremely good value for money. Also, they will play on a Sony Blu-Ray player as well as the Panasonic.
