After a month or so living with this 'phone - which replaced a temperamental BT Freestyle - I am most impressed. It is more like a moble 'phone to use in terms of 'phone book etc so, after populating the 'phone book, I can readily see who is ringing. I like the range of ring tones and the colour screen and particularly like the fact that it indicates that I've had a call (prompting a scroll through the caller list) even if a message has not been left.

I bought this phone to replace a BT1500 which broke down after 14 months use. So far, this phone has been excellent. It's easy to set up and the menu set=up system is straightforward to use. The sound quality is very good in both speech and reception and the ability to choose ringtones for stored numbers, at first would seem like a gimmic but it enables you to identify who's calling from a distance if you want (favourite numbers and give your friends an individual ringtone ?). Battery life is (handset) is quite good and the answerphone is really easy to use.
The only criticism I have is that the mains lead for the base unit is rather short otherwise

Panasonic KXTG8021 Digital Cordless Phone
