Product Description

Manufacturer's Description:

Panasonic's DECT phone range has continued to go from strength to strength since the introduction of the first model a decade ago. Constantly evolving in line with consumers changing needs - Panasonic is proud to provide stylish and innovative models that center on ease of use and convenience. Panasonic is committed to providing the consumer with choice, and with 3 new ranges to choose from.

The 7000 series inherently user friendly
The KX-TG7100 features all of the benefits seen with the 1000 series, whilst going one step further to include a number of additional features to cater for those looking for that little bit more. With a speakerphone added to the mix the KX-TG7100 is inherently user-friendly ensuring users are not restricted by having to hold the handset. For example, users can confidently talk to their best friend whilst simultaneously doing the washing up with.

In addition to the Base Ringer featured in the KX-TG1100, the KX-TG7100 also features Ringer LED on the handset that flashes when the phone is ringing. This means you can see as well as hear that the phone is ringing.

The 7000 series also offers a model with a 20 minute Telephone Answering Machine KX-TG7120 for those looking to benefit from an answering machine. Ease of use has remained at the forefront of this model with the TAM key on the base - simply press the large play button and listen to your messages on the speakerphone.

With the KXT-G7123E, Panasonic offer an attractive DECT cordless telephone with three handsets and an answering machine that has a back lit three-line LCD, 50 number phone book, SMS, polyphonic ring tones, caller line identification and 240 hour standby. There is a ringer LED on the handset, plus a lit keypad.

I replaced a Cable and Wireless 4 handset package and overall I am glad I chose this one. As other reviews say they are easy to set-up and the copying of phone books to all handsets is an excellent feature. With up to 50 numbers (per handset if you want) you should be able to get as many as you need on there. We have caller ID so even if there are people you don't call that often at least you can "avoid" them when you see their name come up!

The battery life was the worst feature on my old phones and on this Panasonic package they are excellent.

Also the C&W had smaller handsets but these larger ones are better and give excellent quality voice quality. Smaller is not always best! And the hands free quality is superb as others have said.

There is a good selection of ringtones although why you would want different ring tone on the base set to the handset I do not know!

I can't understand the gripes about the answerphone voice as you can record your own. I had reservations before buying if this was not available and you had to make do with a pre-recorded voice but finding you can record your own was a real bonus. Of course any one you record yourself always sounds awful!

One very small gripe. If the phone is in the base station and you get an incoming call you can't just pick it up and start the call (like I could on my others) - you have to press the call button. Other than that these have been an excellent purchase and a great price at Amazon as always - just check out on Pricerunner first as I always do!

I needed a new cordless phone and decided to get one which included an answering machine with 3 handsets - but which system?

Amazon's reviews are invaluable in helping to choose but it still felt a bit of a lottery as to whether the phone would be up to expectations.

I need not have worried - the Panasonic system is excellent. It's easy to set up and all functions seem to be easily adjustable from any handset. Reception around the house is clear and loud - far better than my old phone and the answerphone messages can be accessed from any of the handsets too.

I have no hestitation in recommending these Panasonic phones.

Over the last few years, we've had various DECT products of varying quality, longevity and functionality in our home. This trio of Panasonic phones, which I bought six months ago, looks set to both meet our needs and outlast our previous models.

The knocked back matt silver finish recedes subtly into the background in each household location. The ergonomics are good, suiting both the young kids and adults alike. The directory has to be typed in - no importation facility - but once done is easily propogated amongst the other phones. Each phone has a speaker for hands-free use as well as being useful to monitor calls whilst a message is left (on all three phones simultaneously). Transfering calls is easy to do and the intercom feature is easy to use - you just need to remember that phone 1 is in the kitchen, phone 2 in the lounge, etc. The phones are reasuringly robust and have survived relatively rough handling by kids. The three base units are small and elegant; also in knocked back matt silver. The answering machine function can be controlled and used from any of the phones.

I like these phones!
