The large, 2.0-inch screen is easy to-read, and the GUI-like icon-based menu screen lets you access functions without confusion. I already had this phone and bought it for my mother who is in her 60's as a christmas present. This is an excelent, easy to use telephone and answer machine. Numbers are large enough and raised slightly which make it easy to dial, better personally than the flat faced number pads,it has a loud speaker on the handset.Lovely and clear reception with volume control.Large selection of ring tones.The range is fantastic.I can not fault this phone and would reccomend to a friend. This telephone is worth every penny.

This is my third Panasonic phone. Not because the other ones broke but because I fancy a change after a few years! They have never given me any trouble, in my opinion they are the best brand by far, for TV's too in my experience.
I love the look of this phone, the ringtones, the clarity of hearing the caller so clearly.... I love the Screensavers, there's even a snowflake one for Christmas time, including a Jingle Bells ringtone which I have had to choose even though it's a tad early!
Easy to look in to your phone book, redial function, absolutely brilliant. I should have bought the two handset version, but no worries I have ordered the additional handset. Amazing phone.

I chose this phone based on Amazon reviews for the dual handset version (presumably exactly the same phone). The reviews were in the main very positive on quality, particularly the sound. While I agree that the sound quality is good, the volume simply isn't loud enough even when set to maximum. This includes the earpiece, loudspeaker and ringer volume. I have another Panasonic phone and the volume on this is fine and it isn't even set to maximum.
The other slight niggle I have is the appearance and functionality of the display when using the menu, it is very basic and a little old fashioned.
Despite the above, all round this is a good product. The build quality and appearance are excellent.

DECT Phone
Panasonic DECT phones are brilliant. I now have two bases and 5 phones. Really good and simple, too. Cannot recommend them too highly!
