Already own a similar panasonic set of cordless phones. In fact have been a fan of their stuff for years.
Bought this for Mum-in-law to replace tired old bt phones.
Dead easy to set up. The only time consuming thing is putting phone numbers in for phonebook. This means "caller display will then give the name of the caller aswell as easy access to up to 100 numbers per handset (Which do not need to be the same numbers) . What is good is you can copy a phone book in part or full from one phone to another so the names only need putting in the once.
Good quality call reception and decent size buttons.
Speakerphone is useful when waiting for a caller to answer.
It is also easy to transfer a call from one handset to another say, when the call is for another family member.
Being a wireless set, the second unit only has a base for charging purposes so it does not need a phone socket wherever it is to be placed, just a mains socket.
The base unit has a "find" button which rings all handsets when pressed. Useful when the handset is down the back of the sofa or wherever! You can also intercom from one handset to another to tell the other party their tea is ready.
I have a similar unit with 4 handsets and it is a boon. The kids each have one in their room and they actually respond to it when I need them. With this set, additional handsets can be purchased and used with the same system as the need arises.
All in all very good value for money.

My ancient BT cordless was giving up the ghost and I did quite a lot of research on new phone models. The Amazon reviews for the previous model, Panasonic KX-TG6412, clinched my decision.
The phones were easy to install, the manual is very clear and easy to follow. Setting up the phone book and copying to the other handset was simple (and I don't do mobiles). The display is easy to read and I appreciate it flagging up missed calls plus the caller list when people don't leave a message. The phones are comfortable to handle and the shoulder/ear grip feels quite secure when I'm wandering about the garden doing other things. Sound quality is good. Initially, there was a bit of distortion/echo but repositioning the broadband wireless hub in relation to the base unit seems to have remedied that.
In all, I'm very pleased with this product.

We have had quite a few cordless phones over the years, but none has been as good as this one. It is very easy to set up and to use. It has a great clear large display, showing the date and time, which illuminates as soon as you pick up the handset, and, of course, it diplays the number as you are dialling it. It looks good and feels comfortable to hold when in use. Sound quality is excellent, and the price is amazing value, quite unbeatable. It has a very useful caller list of numbers, with times and date of calls. When we have been out, on our return, we always check to see who has phoned, and if friends or family have tried to contact us, we can get back to them. This is a very easy product to set up . Easy to transfer names to other handset . Good sound quality. The only downside is the ring tones are not loud enough .
