Pros:
- Large display with an easy to use interface (at least compared to the usual dreadful setup you find on cordless phones)
- Reasonably large well made handset with no creaks or hint that it might be broken if dropped.
- Clear call quality.
- Range of features, the clock & alarm is quite useful whilst the phone book and caller ID work well.
- Weight and textured grip on the back help to make it harder to drop.
Cons:
- Handset could be a little louder, it does have a speaker phone function though.
- Base is fairly bulky and rather cheap feeling
RE: Answering when you pick the phone up, just enable to "Auto Talk" to get this feature.
It's nice and light, fits in your hand well. The display is clear and bright and the numbers bold big and clear. The buttons feel nice to use and are well sized and spaced.
The hands free option works well although you sound like you are in an empty room but it's better than most and they sound very clear and loud. When used normally the clarity at both ends of the call is very good.
Battery time is good as we are going over 4 days between charges.
When on standby it displays the time in BIG numbers with the date underneath someone has actually put some common sence thought into this phone!
Even has a little symbol on the display to show when you have 1571 messages - how good is that!
Very happy with this handset after a months use.
