The Panasonic KX-TG2513 is a dependable and energy-efficient phone that delivers up to 17 hours of talktime/180 hours standby time, per battery charge, for reliable performance as a home phone, or for more demanding use in any normal working environment. The Panasonic KX-TG2513 installs easily and its various functions can be quickly accessed through the handset’s convenient navigation key via intuitive menus on the distinctive LCD 3-line display screen. I wanted 3 decent phones - and got just that.They work perfectly, look non-offensive around my house... and well there's really not much more you could want to be honest.

I bought these phones for my parents who still don't get along with mobiles and insist on landlines, and also have some very old phones in use (cords!).The phones look very nice and are extremely easy to set up. The thing I noted first was that there was only one phone line required for three phones. The last time I bought a landline phone (nearly ten years ago!) each phone required a phone socket so on each floor of the house there is a phone socket for this purpose. However with these phones you plug the main phone (the one with the bigger base than the other two) into the phone socket and the other two phones just need to be plugged into an electronic socket. Genius! And very useful for those who don't have multiple phone sockets to spare. Also, when setting up the phones, entering dates and times, etc, this just needs to be done once and all the phones are automatically updated from that one phone, saving you time from doing it three times. The one thing I will say is that the bases of the phones don't seem very sturdy and seem quite light. That said there haven't been any problems with them. Also the ring tones are a pleasant sound rather than the former phones that had a shrill, piercing ringing that annoyed the dogs. The display is monocolour, rather than a full colour display, but my parents don't mind as long as they can answer and return calls on it, it's perfect. On the whole, a very decent buy. It's price is very good, the product works fine, all the phones look very smart when set up, and overall everyone's very happy with these phones. Highly recommended!

Stylish set of top brand name phones,

I did a little research and decided to spend a little more to get a hopefully better product and so far I have not been disappointed. I also spent a bit more on delivery to ensure that I was in when the package arrived. These phones are not the cheapest around but they are top name branded, of excellent quality and very smart and extremely easy to set up and to use straight out of the box after fully charging the six supplied NimH rechargeable batteries. There is no complicated setting up of the phones - they simply work when they are plugged in! There is a choice of 9 or 10 ring tones all of which I find are loud enough. I am using the phones on the ECO power saving setting without any problem with call quality but I guess this depends on where you live. My advice is to read the instructions carefully. The instructions state that there is a way you can transfer phonebook contact numbers from one phone to another but I haven't tried this yet. Glad I went for Panasonic and for three phones instead of two, the only problem is I won't have an excuse not to get to the phone in time when the mother-in-law rings. Thanks Amazon!
