Amazon.co.uk Review
The Panasonic GD35 is a phone with a whole range of great features, including an integrated WAP browser for accessing information on the Internet. This phone is sexy and stylish and its small size and light weight mean it will fit unobtrusively into any pocket. There are two menu keys to give you quick access to your phonebook and phone settings, and a four-way scroll button enables you to navigate through the options quickly. A dedicated Internet button provides a shortcut to the WAP service and text messaging, simply press and hold for WAP, or press once for direct access to the messaging menu. Other features include a clock with alarm, calculator, game and animations for your text messages. For SMS addicts, the built in T9 dictionary helps you compose messages, while templates provide you with a range of pre-programmed messages. Alert profiling enables you to assign one of 20 ring tones to five of your most used numbers, so you won't even need to see the display to know who is calling. For meetings or noisy environments a vibrating alert discreetly informs you of incoming calls and messages. The Panasonic GD35 is available on Vodafone's SmartStep tariff and comes with £10 of calling credit subject to registration. Call charges for the first three minutes of each day are charged at 25p per minute, thereafter calls are charged at 5p per minute. Calls to other mobile networks are charged at 40p per minute.
