Less cutting resistance with extra-sharp blades.
Using three of the world’s sharpest inner blades, Nano particles are used to polish the blade edge to a fine tip of 0.3µm, 3 times sharper compared to conventional 1.0µm. This reduces the cutting resistance by approximately 1/2 for an effortless shave.
Moreover, the inner blades are arranged at a 30-degree angle to shave off hair horizontally for a more precise, close shave. Panasonic has created an electric shaver that delivers the closest shave possible through this technology which is normally reserved for the most expensive shavers.

I have been using Braun electric shavers for the past thirty years, thinking that they were the last word in battery-powered shaving devices -- WRONG!!! -- Having read all the positive reviews on Amazon for Panasonic electric shavers (I didn't even know Panasonic made electric razors) I decided to try one, and Oh My God, what a 'step up' this amazing little Panasonic is...
In a nutshell - it is sharper, quicker, quieter, smoother, better quality and more user-friendly than any of the Brauns I've had over the years. By a country mile it is the best electric razor I have ever used. It cuts through my scraggy week-old stubble quickly and effortlessly and gave me the smoothest shave I have ever experienced. I love it. Whether it's this particular model or equivalent, the Panasonics are the best electric shavers on the market at the moment and are definitely worth a try.

I have been using Panasonic's shavers for a long time and never had cause for complaint...
... until now.
Not so long ago, all Panasonics above Baby's First Electric Shaver level shared two features: wet shave and linear motors. So, I didn't bother to read the fine print when I ordered this one. Unfortunately, Panasonic must have changed their mind about their whole range: this one, even though it is above the middling end of the range, lacks the linear motor. And that makes all the difference between a poor and excellent shaver.
Sounds like a gimmick, doesn't it? Linear motor, indeed.
Except that it's no gimmick. A Panasonic with a linear motor runs at the same speed from 100% charge until it goes down to nearly 0. And it does the same when you get to patches of thicker whiskers -- never misses a beat. Sure, that makes them somehow louder, but I can put up with that for a comfortable shave.
This model, on the other hand, starts to sound like a tired hand blender by the time it's down to 60% charge, which actually happens after only two or three shaves. And at 40% charge, it's just about powerful enough to shave a five year old's chin. The only way to get a half-decent shave with this one is to recharge it every two or three days, which will no doubt destroy the batteries after a year or so. And even at full charge, when you stray too close to longer whiskers, it struggles.
My last two Panasonics cost roughly the same and each one lasted some five or six years. Even with their NiMh batteries near the end of their working lives, they still lasted for a week on a single charge.
I suspect this one will get binned by the time it is ready for a new foil in a year's time. What a waste!
Don't make my mistake. Spend a few pounds more and buy one of the models with the linear motor. You won't regret it.

I have had Remington shavers for many years, but when I read the reviews of this Panasonic, I was impressed.However I have to say that I am dissapointed , it does not shave as close as my old Remington, and seems too handle tuffer stuble easier.As I have a fine beard,it needs several shaves to acheive the smooth result.Will not buy again!
