This oven does not follow the modern trend of smaller/lighter in fact it weighs in at a mighty 21kg (complete with packaging 28kg)[Also available in white but cheaper] its outer dimensions are 530 mm (W) X 508 mm (D) X 344 mm (H) so check that you have room for it before you buy, also as it is a proper combination oven (Microwave, Grill and Convection [fan]) the outside can get hot so needs space around it. The oven dimensions are 350 mm (W) X 360 mm (D) X 250 mm (H). The size means that it is more than adequate and will also heat the prepared meals that come in pouches and have to stand up. A tip if you are replacing a Panasonic microwave keep the glass turntable as some will fit and it is useful to have a spare.
This is an oven that can be used as a main oven as it does everything. It is easy to use but read the comprehensive instruction book first (The instruction book also contains a fair few recipes to get you started) as if you have not had an oven of this type before some things are not obvious for example if grilling the glass turntable has to either be removed or covered with the supplied tray.
Microwave, grill and convection can be used separately or in combination. In fact there are a number of settings that will automatically use combinations for example there is a button for potatoes and if you wish to roast potatoes all you do is put the potatoes on the metal tray, press the potatoes button 3 times and press start. No weighing or calculating. The only disadvantage of this method is that until the process is underway how long it is going to take, initially the display shows roasting potatoes which after a while turns into a countdown timer.
As well as the potato button there are also auto settings for Vegetables, Fish, Pizza, Meat, Crispy Top, Chicken and Bake.

We purchased the Panasonic 32 litre delux combi after our exisitng microwave started playing up.

We decided to splash out and invest in the best product we could afford.

It is a great piece of kit.

When using the oven function it preheats nice and quickly and cooks food evenly without fuss. Just remember that it is an oven as well as a micro, i burnt my fingers first time i used it as an oven...;)

It has some excellent additions like the splash back cover when cooking fatty foods so that they do not spit all over the inside.

Top tip measure the space needed for it as it is fairly big and needs ample air circulating round it.

It is so much handier when cooking for 2 or 3 people rather than using the main oven.

Read the instructions carefully they are very indepth and you will pick up a few tips you would not have thought of.

All in all worth every penny highly recommended.

I have already recommended this combination oven to two lots of friends. It is a joy to use and comes with a most helpful manual and cookery book. It is so versatile and the results are perfect. The instructions look a little complex at first glance, but are simple to understand and follow and soon become familiar. The results make one appreciate the reason for the various combinations. It is easy to keep clean and a sensible size. I am delighted with it. It is the best one I have had. I thought at first that I didn't need a grill but now see the reason why this has one: the grill is used in combination with both Turbo and microwave for perfect results.

I purchased this as a replacement for my older Panasonic combination microwave. We had that for 6-7 years and it would still have been going strong except for for a baked potato which went up in flames (our fault!).

The old oven was so useful that we barely used the fixed oven. This is the same. Unlike many combination ovens there are two shelves for conventional cooking and a variety of automatic programmes. We obviously looked at alternatives, but this still suited us best.

In general terms there is little difference between new and old. Same dimensions, same capacity, same inverter technology. This time we went for the stainless steel instead of white. One of the few problems with the previous one was the door. The plastic surround had moved and cracked with the heat and hinges had sagged a little. Hopefully this will not be a problem with the stainless steel version. I do worry a little about the labelling on the buttons. This looks as though it may easily wear off.

All in all, just as expected.

Very good performance, excellemt size for a small family, more useful and compact than a normal size cooker and more functions. Strongly recommended.

My wife likes this microwave and uses many of its features. So you may be happy with this product. But be warned, if anything goes wrong, Panasonic customer service is a postcode lottery. And I am definitively not among winners. Paying for a premium product, I do not expect to be treated badly, so I would think twice before buying any other expensive product from that brand.

I bought this microwave from Amazon. It was delivered promptly but in a damaged box, so a replacement was requested and arrived promptly (exemplary service from Amazon!).

The problems started after 5 weeks when the lights inside gone off. Unfortunately that happened just outside Amazon 30 days exchange policy, so I decided to contact Panasonic first.

From Panasonic website I learned that "This Product type is covered by a call out service where, if possible a repair will be effected in the home. If this is not possible the repair agent will collect and re-install the product after repair." So I expected no problem, how naive were I!

I entered my postcode just to find out that mine was not covered and I was asked to contact a call center for advice. Now note that it is difficult to find out open hours for the Panasonic call center, and they close relatively early.
But that's not the main problem.

When I finally reached the call center, a representative asked me if I would like to drive 20 miles to the nearest Panasonic service center. I refused suspecting I would need to do it twice. Then I was promised a call back, which I got just to learn
they would need another day to arrange the repair with a local contractor. I've never got a second call back.
