Bought one for an HDC-SD10:
On the good side, it feels to be of a good quality, the SD10 fits exactly, and there is an easy to use magnetic button "catch" to keep the lid closed.
On the bad side, there is a belt loop + a ring for attachment of a wrist/shoulder strap but no strap is provided. And there is no pocket or space to store even as much as a spare memory card.
Verdict:
OK if you want to travel light (attach case to your belt) and don't need to carry a spare memory card, battery etc. Otherwise go for one of many third-party compact camera cases (for the same or less money you'll get a shoulder strap and pockets to store a few accessories)

Bought this for my new camcorder. However giving the size would be very helpful. As there aren't any I checked the size of my camcorder against those listed and found it fitted. However when I received my camcorder it only fits if the battery is not attached and as there are no pockets one would have to carry the battery in your pocket. Dont think this is the idea!
The case is very smart and looks great but does not come with any form of strap, either wrist or shoulder. Therefore if youve got your swimming trunks on you have to carry it which means if someone knocks you you could drop your camcorder and damage it.
Its cheap but will then cost you more to buy the straps. Would suggest buying a case with all the attachments.

This product is excellent, and particularly in respect of it's value! Real leather product, with magnetic clip, allowing a good protection of the Camcorder inside. But it is NOT a substitute for a Camcorder gadget bag! It is 'and - also'!
It also protects the Camcorder in your gadget bag, fitting nice and snug around the Camcorder, so that when you take it out of the bag (leaving the bag in the car?) then you can keep it with you (either on your belt or person) and use the Camcorder when required knowing that it is well protected.
Highly recommended. And particularly for the price you can't go wrong!
