Panasonic Conversion Lens Adapter for the Lumix LX5. This lens adapter enables the Panasonic Wide-Conversion Lens DMW-LWA52E to be attached to the LX5. It also enables the Panasonic ND Filter DMW-LND52E, PL Filter DMW-LPL52E and the MC Protector DMW-LMC52E to be attached to the LX5. By attaching these lenses and filters, it enable you to get much more from your Panasonic Lumix LX5, giving you the flexibility to be as creative as you want.

Amazon Verified Purchase
As a pro photographer I was getting increasingly frustrated with 'not having my full kit with me/the size of my full kit' so I bought a Panasonic LX5 as a 'go everywhere camera'. This adaptor allows you to fit a filter (either for protection or effect) in front of the lens.
Being able to use a polariser is a massive boon; and to be honest, if I had not been able to fit one I may well not have bought the camera.
The quality is excellent, but it could be all too easy to damage it by bumping against something or by sitting on it if it is a pocket. I would urge extreme caution here.
It works very, very well; and, like a Morris Minor, it is simple but very effective.

I bought this Panasonic Conversion Adapter for use with the Panasonic Lumix LX5 that I took with me to this year's Isle of Man TT Road Races. I used it with a Hoya 52mm HD 'Protector' Filter. This combination was invaluable in the hustle and bustle of the TT Races. There were hundreds of spectators milling about and this adapter plus filter saved lots of fluff, insects etc from getting on the camera's lens. A real boon!

Not much you can say about it, except it is very well made/finished. It also does not look out of place when fitted. Looks just like a lens and not an add-on. The filters also fit/screw in perfectly
