I got this as a back-up battery for my new Panasonic Lumix FS-35 digital camera. It charged quickly in the charger cradle of my new camera and is in fact the battery now being used in the camera. The battery which came with the camera was charged afterward and is now 'in reserve'. Very happy.

Whilst used as a spare battery, it performed as well as the battery supplied with the Panasonic Lumix FS-35, and was around the £20 mark as opposed to £40 for a replacement battery (though even cheaper alternative batteries can be obtained) . However, this particular item has expanded slightly since recharging and therefore, no longer fits properly in my camera. Hence no longer used as I wish to prevent damaging my camera by pushing it in. I do not know if this is a fault simply of the individual item I bought, or a more general occurance. Hence, a middle of the road assessment. Had my own battery not expanded, I would have given a higher rating.

Although this battery is not exactly the same, numerically, as the one that came with my FS14, Amazon always defaulted to this one when I entered the details of the original.(The elecrical ratings are slightly different)
Having charged, used and recharged it, I can say that it works exactly as desired and has proved to be a good backup for the original battery.

When received outer packaging intact but inner packet opened and battery was fully charged. Previously bought panasonic batteries, and instructions for this one, state battery should be charged fully before use, therefore I am not confident battery I have bought is new as stated - time will tell.
