Firstly the battery arrived in good time and was well packaged . It is exactly the same as the one in the camera i.e. is original Panasonic and not a pattern part. Very impressed . Very good price good service all round .

I bought this for my Panasonic Lumix FS30 Digital Camera - Black (14.1MP, 8x Optical Zoom) 2.7 inch LCD which is great for a spare battery.
When I go to events I do like to take a lot of photos, so having just the supplied battery which only lasts around 300 pictures isn't really enough for me, whereas this battery lasts around 380 pictures, so both batteries combined is more than enough for me. If your going on Holiday, I would definitely recommend getting one as a spare.
OK, so the downside is that the product is rather expensive, but what you are paying for is the quality of the battery and a guarantee it's the safest way to power up your camera, as their are cheap imitations out there which aren't safety checked properly, makes it in my opinion worth the extra cost.
