After ordering my 3D TV I wanted an affordable dedicated 3D Bluray player and this ticked all the boxes for me and nailed it with the current free 3D movies promotional offer. The unit itself is a lot smaller than I expected. I have previously had Denon and Sony 2D players and they were huge compared to this, but in this case size really does not matter because this tiny thing is super quick and loads up a BD disk in just 10-15 seconds. It produces some superb 2D pictures as well as amazing 3D depth and quality. I can only compare to a PS3 BD player which I have used and I found the Panasonic to be in a different class to the PS3 which unfortunately doesn't currently give you the full HD sound when playing 3D disks.

Two things I really like that I thought I would never use:

1. The 2D to 3D option which I have used to watch Avatar and Quantum Of Solace and felt it did a good job of making a 2D disk play virtual 3D. Not as good as the real thing but passable.

2. There is a touch sensitive pad at the top of the player and you simply wave your hand over it to open/close the tray. Really like this and very cool. Not much use if its sitting in a rack though!!

It also has a fairly decent internet portal with access to You Tube among other things, if you like that sort of thing. I found it to be quick and pleasant to use over a wifi connection (which was super easy to set-up).

Finally it comes with an excellent remote and a super user friendly set-up so I'm pleased and you probably will be too.

I paid the extra for the SD slot and Wi-fi, the SD slot works well with AVCHD content, but the wi-fi content is a bit of disappointment as I was expecting to get BBC iplayer, ITV and 4OD but all there is is You Tube, a film trailer site and paid for films, this is a shame from what otherwise is an excellent product.

Recently picked up the Panasonic after my Samsung blu-ray died on me.

There are lots of great features on this device. SOme of them you might never use but still it does provide plenty of options. Internet and network connection via Wi-Fi is simple and consistent. The app stores needs a lot more options but with YOuTube and Picassa are very good.

The sound and picture quality is about what you would expect from a device in this price bracket and I can say you won't be disappointed by its performance in this sense.

The free downloadable smart phone app is dead handy and really intuitive. The only down side I find is that the device isn't the quietest in the world. On occasion it continues to make loud sounds after being put in standby which is a pain.

Overall though, I would recommend.

The previous review says it all, I can't fault this product and think the extra £40 or so over the cost of the 110 model was well spent to have the wireless dongle built in to the player. A piece of cake to install and very friendly and easy to use, a super product.

Excellent bluray player.bought this player to replace my Sony bdps 370.the picture quality is amazing and the wifi content is excellent.I'm using a g router and it works perfectly with no drop outs at all,and my cinema room is two rooms away from the router.all in all I would give this player a full 10 out of 10. 1 more thing there is a lot of comments on the noise of the drive unit when playing discs but I would have to say this is minimal on this player,it does make some noise when going through the start up of a disc but once the disc is playing the noise level is very low,and I'm less than 3feet from the player when watching a movie.

This was an upgrade replacement for my totally rubbish Panasonic BT 200 Home cinema Amp/Bluray combo which was just ridiculously slow at doing everything. How it got fantastic reviews from the press and public is beyond me. This Panasonic Blu Ray player is like night and day to the aforemention one, it does everything super fast which in my opinion all new technology should do as a given. It looks cool, takes up hardly any space and was an absolute bargain when you look at all the features it has, and as a brilliant bonus you can send away for the Star Wars trilogy on Blu Ray disc which is sent to you for free !! Thank you Panasonic for making up for the travesty that the old BT 200 is.

I was looking for a blu ray player to upgrade from my DVD player and after a lot of research decided on the Panasonic BDT210 as it had the features I was looking for and was within my budget. It is early days, since I ppurchased this in December but so far no complains. I have not thoroughly explored the DLNA features but the Wi-Fi connected to my PC well. Unfortunately, the unit could not see my video or picture files. I still have to sort this out. Set up was a breeze. Picture quality is very good although cannot say anything on 3D picture quality as my TV is not a 3D TV. If you are looking for an entry level blu ray player with some added features such as Wi-Fi and DLNA, this might be the player to go for.

Would definitely recommend as things stand now.
