Manufacturer's Description
Ultra Fast Start-up and Loading
With the new DMP-BD75, the time it takes from launching the menu to playing a disc is much shorter than in conventional models. Starting and loading the disc from standby is also quick, for more comfortable movie viewing.
Up-scales DVDs to 1080p
1080p up-conversion function converts standard definition (720 x 480 pixels) images from DVD sources to high definition (1920 x 1080pixels) images. These up-converted signals draw out the maximum performance of an HDMI compatible1080p HDTV, giving you vivid, sharp and exceptionally detailed high-resolution images to enjoy.
Stream Videos, Photos and Music from PC with DLNA
Using DLNA technology, Blu-ray Disc™ players can access files on a DLNA server-compliant PC* or high definition recorders (DIGA). By simply connecting to a home network (LAN), you can enjoy AVCHD, WMV, DivX, JPEG, MP3 and WMA files on your PC or AVCHD files, recorded programmes and JPEG on your DIGA.
* Requires Windows 7 Operating System. The playability may depend on the PC performance.
New Super Easy Menus
A stylish and simple menu design is achieved by using large menu icons and illustrations. The FULL HD Blu-ray Disc™ player now features a simple menu, and thanks to its one-click action, you simply place the remote control cursor onto the menu item that you want to choose, and the menu proceeds smoothly to the next screen. It's easy, even for first-time users.
Compact Design
This new model is more compact than Panasonic 2010 models, with a height that's 14mm* lower for the Blu-ray Disc™ players, and a depth that's 20mm* shorter for the Blu-ray Disc™ players. The reduced height allows the player and the main unit to fit into slim and stylish AV racks. The carton box volume for Blu-ray Disc™ players is also reduced by 50%* to raise transportation efficiency and help reduce CO2 emissions.
* Compared with the DMP-BD65 2010 model.
USB Slot for Videos, Photos and Music Playback
You can enjoy photos, movies and music archived on a USB memory device or external hard disk drive*.
* Compatible only with FAT 32 file systems. Playback is not possible with some external hard disk drives.
