This case was purchased for the sole purpose of carrying the Panasonic Lumix G2 Camera. A very good quality case, light, waterproof, well padded all round, easy to carry whether by hand or your shoulder. It has a number of compartments which enables you to carry not only the camera but additional batteries, a lense and cable. Recommended.

Perfect case for my new camera. Small enough not to be a pain but enough space for 2/3rds camera and bits.

OK, it's well made, reasonably priced and arrived promptly, but it is very BIG. It's also conspicuously present on your person when you are out and about. It makes my daughter feel like she's carrying a flashing sign saying 'mug me'. It's not as if you have to pack 10 rolls of Kodak these days and it will be some time before she can afford different lenses. I suppose there's no harm in being prepared but now when she is out on a shoot she keeps her camera loose in the bottom of a nondescript bag - out of site, out of mind. The GEM case stays at home and serves as a stout dust proof box where she stores the camera when it's not being used.

Just what I wanted!
Having bought a DSLR camera I found it would not fit into my camcorder or digital camera bags. This is the perfect solution with room for the charger, additional lens etc.
