I first discovered Pam Ann's `Come Fly with Me' on Qantas' in-flight programming on my way to Australia 5 years ago...TOTALLY LOVED IT!!! I love the originality of this artist, her camp humor, her shows that focus on the experiences of air travel, her take on the characteristics of international airlines and "their media stereotypes", and her love for her 'gays and bitches'. I ordered the DVD from Amazon as soon as I returned from my travels, and have been enjoying it ever since. Thus, when I saw that 'Live in NY' was out, I jumped at the occasion of getting myself a bit more Pam!! Well, what a let down! Pam is but a shadow of her former self in this performance. Her crassness is increased here yet is not funny, her jokes fall quite flat, and a lot of her material is warmed up from CFWM (even the audiance reaction is tepid with the occasional clap and laugh). Things started getting better at about 3/4 of the show, but by then the damage was done. I doubt I will be watching this DVD again, very sad indeed. I would not reccommend this DVD at all, as even the bonuses are as irritating as most of the show! Sorry Pam, I hope the next DVD is better!

I brought this dvd because I owned it's predecssor Come Fly With Me which was an amzaing dvd but i found that the live tour was better,I went to the Pam at the New Victoria Theatre Woking in 2008. This dvd is ok but as lovley as Pam is she tends to stick to a subject and keeps goin back to it or dragging it out for ever more and I thought this dvd was going to be as brilliant as this years live tour that I went to see just 3 weeks ago today. If you are a fan of Pam Ann you'll love it but be careful it might not be what you are expecting so try not too have to much in the way of high expectations.

Hate the fact I couldn't watch it!
Seems dvds made in the UK are not compatible with US equipment. Had to watch what clips are on UTube!

Very boring

First DVD ways better
As a big fan from Pam Ann I ordered her new DVD. But I was a bit disappointed. The first DVD released in 2007 is ways better. Still nice to watch, but not her best show :/

Poor
Not up to her usual standard of comedy. I so wanted to like this but was very disappointed. Also the actual quality if the sound and video editing is quite poor.
