About the Author
Julian Moore is a composer, songwriter, music producer, author and mentalist. Interested in all things strange from an early age, his writing took a back seat to his musical endeavours until fairly recently, when he embarked on a writing spree revolving around the practice of giving 'readings' - palmistry, graphology, cartomancy and the pseudo-sciences behind them such as 'cold reading'. Julian is now embarking on a series of novels which should be available in the not too distant future. One involves an adventure with some dogs in a region of India. Another surrounds the haunting of a student pianist. There could be some others that deal with a little girl and her friends who discover some strange abilities. Who knows. In the meantime you can read his current crop of factual books available here and from The Cold Reading Company, or check out his band Georgia Wonder at their website or on YouTube.

But wait a minute! That's not all. With the book come recalling cards that you can print, cut out and take with you everywhere (you can even add notes on it) that are full of those mnemonics and examples that will help you to remember all you need to come up with exciting readings in no time.
A good addition to the book (once you mastered the reading) is to buy the tick sheet. Once you have mastered the hand reading this is a fantastic tool as it allows you to print an exciting and incredibly attractive card that you can leave as a reminder to the person you read the hand to. It looks extremely professional and it's a wonderful reminder of a moment of fun someone shared with you.
After having spent some money on countless hand reading books that were full of information, difficult to remember and that gave you no guidance on how to structure a reading, Julian's book was a god-sent.Read more ›
I bought the digital version which came with flashcards to download and the audio book. The flash cards are excellent splitting the information onto 10 cards. I printed these off small and carried them around for a while in my wallet. During odd gaps in my day I'd quickly read the cards recapping the chapter. I then listened to the audiobook in the car. I quickly picked up the general meanings of the hand.
Having worked delivering readings using this system to paying customers I can say it works. It delivers a solid, satisfying reading. Even if you only did a reading based on the first few chapters you would still have enough to entertain. The book is in my opinion under priced and highly recommended.
the most books and dvds come to you with a lot of information, stocklines, "facts" about body language. tell you about the background of doing readings, the history... all nice things but as far es i can say: it wont help you doing real readings on real persons.
julian goes a complete different way: step by step he introduces you to the theme. it starts simple (and yeah, you can do a quick reading from the first step) and gets more complex as you learn and go forward. and at the ende you can do a hitting reading. AND: now you can read and understand all the other books with tons of unconnected information.

A printed ebook for £7? I think not. You can have it back :) very misleading, thought the ebook was an extra to a legit published paperback.Published 13 months ago by Cassandra Bradbury
Little information, very simple, giving you the tools to impress people in parties etc. This is not bad in itself, just not what I was looking for. I returned the book.Published 13 months ago by CarinaR
