Great PDA Great PHONE, 2 July 2004
This review is from: PalmOne Treo 600 Smartphone - Sim Free (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I love this PDA/Phone combo - it works really well. I was concerned about the tiny keyboard but it's efficient and better than predictive text as it's much more user friendly. GOOD POINTS: -only one tiny gadget to lug around. - constantly expanable with new programs etc - syncs with PC and Mac (a real joy as not that many PDAs are really Mac friendly) - good phone, excellent reception. - easy to set up. BAD POINTS (why it's 4 stars not 5) - the camera is not good. Maybe a quick snap of a friend but nothing worth talking about. No zoom etc. But I'm willing to sacrifice. - the screen quality does everything you'd ever want except work well with a drawing program as the resolution isn't good enough. -have to hunt for accessories. (Try Vaja for cases.) I'd highly recomend this phone. If you're using a non-Orange network be prepared to play around with the GRPS settings as your phone co. may not have the settings for this particular phone. It took me 1 phone call and about 40min of playing to get it perfect for email, SMS, MMS etc.

Treo 600 - What can't it do?, 2 Feb 2005
This review is from: PalmOne Treo 600 Smartphone - Sim Free (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This is a great device if like me you like the sound of some gadgets but don't have pockets for everything. The phone feature obviously works well, but the PDA features are also very well executed, meaning you're never too far away from your calendar, to do lists etc. The joy of this is that everything is in one place. You can email, phone or text your friends from this, browse the internet (which works better than I thought it would). I also use mine as an MP3 player using the memory card expansion to hold the songs and the headphone socket. Software is available to do all sorts of everything too. The poor points are that the camera isn't much cop, but nothing is perfect. It also may take you a little while to think speaking into your PDA is normal. If your buying one, buy a protective case for it, as it would benefit from a bit of protection if you drop things like me.

Treo 600 a Personal View, 4 Feb 2006
By A Customer
This review is from: PalmOne Treo 600 Smartphone - Sim Free (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This is the first smartphone I have owned. I am extremely impressed with it. If you want a phone that acts as a PDA and is good at what it does, then this is the phone for you. It has a good battery life (10 days under average use), it's easy to use, with a simple interface, yet its powerful. You can synchronise it with Outlook as I have done, and each is updated by the other. You can access the Internet with it as it is WAP enabled. At the price, it's got to be good value.
