Never easy buy shoes online but these fit fine, are very versatile whether walking or cycling, as you do!
Mine fit perfectly as Mens UK 9 1/2, they are very light, comfortable and needed no breaking in whatsoever from day one.
Exactly as in the picture, these shoes are stylish and sturdy, Went on a Europe trip- very comfortable and light weight.

Just Bought the Mustard/Putty coloured ones.. great to wear, comfy and look the biz with blue jeans on.

Good sizing... the canvas upper doesn't have much 'give' but that isn't much of an issue as the boots are a fairly generous fit (ie: good width across the foot)
The soles are nicely chunky and have good grip.
They are sold as 'walking boots' but in all honesty they could probably put up with any rough-and-tumble you can throw at them... though I will be using them as day-to-day footwear.

I'm not sure how well-known, or fashionable Palladium boots are, but I reckon they should/could be the 'in' things to wear.

Just one gripe - pricing.

I notice that certain colour boots go for as little as £25 a pair and other colours to £70ish... WHY??

They are the same boots, made in the same way, with the same materials.. surely they should be the same (lower) price?!
(TOP TIP - go to Palladiumboots.co.uk - you will find many of these boot colour/variations are more sensibly priced - and even some on sale/offer)

BTW - I do recommend pre-treating with some shoe protector spray... just to make sure they are waterproofed!!

More of a light weight boot than a trainer. Sturdy canvas, nice comfortable insole combined with a deep tread on a robust but flexible sole. Great for the urban streets and solid enough for lowland summer hiking. They're not waterproof, but will cope with a moderate shower and the depth of the tread combined with the toe 'bumper' stops you getting wet through shallow puddles etc. A stylish but practical alternative to trainers or boots.

I was wary of these given the price, but in an eceonomy as bad as this, hey it was worth a shot. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by how good they are. Sitting somewhere between a Converse AllStar and a proper walking boot, I have found them comfortable and very sure footed. The canvas upper is not waterproof, so no heavy duty walking should be attempted, unless you like wet socks. However if you know that where you are going is likely to be dry, they are excellent. I have worn them all day with no ill effects and the soles are sturdy and look like they should be good for quite a few miles. Now if only they were waterproof it would be 5 stars.

I received my Palladiums (Palladia??) yesterday morning, and have been wearing them since. No breaking in required, I'd agree with one of the other reviewers that they're a bit like Converse High Tops, but feel more robust. They're made from stronger canvas (no inner lining though) than Cons, and with a more substantial sole.

I've only been wearing them walking around a city, but they feel they could cope with a bit more - maybe something a basic trail shoe could manage. I think my Converse days are now over, and they're a bargain to boot! Sorry, couldn't resist it...PALLADIUM Men's Pampa Hi-m Stonewashed Walking Boot

As a sufferer of shin splints and problematic knees it has been difficult for me to find footwear that is both stylish and comfortable. Converse, Vans, Chelsea boots and Doc Martens have aggravated this condition. I have a comfortable pair of walking trainers but they don't exactly go well with smarter clothes or for work.

I searched amazon for boots and Palladium boots popped up. I then found these Pampa Hi boots and read the reviews with some excitement but they seemed a little too good to be true to be honest. The photos looked great so I decided to risk it and ordered them. Within a few days they arrived and I convinced myself as I opened the package that they would either be uncomfortable or an eye sore.

I was immediately pleased and relieved by their appearance. I tried them on and within minutes my doubts and apprehensions disappeared. After a day of wearing them I was delighted. And further on they are everything I've been looking for and well worth the money. If only I had found these two years ago I'd have saved my self from wasting money on Doc Martens and converse I can't wear as well as the discomfort and aggravation these shoes caused my shins and knees.

I will certainly be looking to Palladium for any future footwear needs. No wonder the French Foreign Legion adopted a Palladium boot for their footwear. Great quality, comfortable, practical and good looking. For me the perfect footwear.

Never heard of this brand until came across it whilst browsing on Amazon - app they've got some pedigree stretching back 70 years, used by the French Foreign Legion etc etc. Interesting, but proof of the pudding's in the wearing as it were, and I love these!

Canvas uppers so not waterproof, vulcanised rubber sole with prominent tread promises a long-life. Extremely comfortable with a molded padded insole, generous fitting so pretty much wear as you would with walking (not hiking) shoes/boots - thicker, padded sports socks are ideal. Looks fine with jeans, and of a style that'll really fit with cargo-style shorts.

Am a newly converted fan to the boots, and the brand - I now know where I'm going to get my next pair of shoes from!

I had been looking for these boots for along time, as I knew they were the same boots that French troops had worn in the jungles of Indochina (Vietnam) in the 1950's. After almost buying over priced originals and terrible copies I managed to stumble across these on good old Amazon - I couldn't believe my good luck! They're still based on the original 1947 design and fit like fit your feet like an old friend (not that you should wear old friends on your feet, or any other part of your anatomy), although at first they are rather too new looking after a few days of light usage they soon mould nicely to your feet and the canvas fabric starts to take on a nice worn look (without actually wearing out, which is nice). Good for lounging in, walking in, driving in, in fact just about anything. As they're canvas they're not waterproof but do dry out extremely quickly if they do get wet and the moulded rubber sole is terrificly tough. For the price, they're just superb. Highly recommended footwear. I might even purchase a second pair in a different colour just because they're there!
