Product Description

The Palit Jetstream series of graphics cards features innovative cooling and an optimized product design to deliver gamers the ultimate gaming experience. The first 4GB memory on board GeForce® GTX 770, you will have enough power to experience 3D Vision and surround with multiple monitors.

With a single GeForce GTX you can expand your PC games across three displays in full stereoscopic 3D for the ultimate “inside the game “experience . NVIDIA Surround also supports triple screen gaming with non-3D Vision monitors. Add in a fourth accessory display to get access to your email, web , or other applications while you game.

DrMOS, originally only available for high-end server CPUs, is now available in all its glory in the next generation of Palit graphics cards. DrMOS offers high current circuits, low noise operation, and effective reduction of heat output.

Dynamically maximizes clock speeds based on workload and allows enthusiast class controls such as temperature target and fan controls, extra over-voltage headroom and optimizations for water-cooling solutions. This allows greater customization and overclocking options and enables gamers to push performance to new levels.

Designed for the new PCI Express 3.0 bus architecture offering the highest data transfer speeds for the most bandwidth-hungry games and 3D applications, while maintaining backwards compatibility with existing PCI Express motherboards for the broadest support.

TurboFan Blade design is developed by the concept of turbojet engine which emphasize on the power of thermal performance at maximum air flow and air pressure. It can provide the best thermal solution to the graphics card.

Just...WOW. So happy with this purchase. Worth every penny. Ultra all the way playing Thief 4, Guild Wars 2, Dishonored, Hitman - Absolution. I'm even gonna go back and play some of my older games on ultra just to play them as intended!

Ok...SIZE MATTERS...Be very careful. This is a LONG card. If you have a standard size computer case make sure you have at least 27.5cm from backslots to drive chassis. Luckily, the PCIE power to this card in on the side of the card not the back which helps but check and check again. I had to move some HD's to fit it in (but in the end bought a new case...which I will review soon =)

I am very, very happy with this purchase =]

Great card but I bought it just before the price dropped! Boy am I gutted! the card itself is as long as a Saphire 480GTX. This plays BF4 on ultra and is great for video editing.

Wow....Just wow. A much needed upgrade from a generic 7870 which is a nice card but sounds like a jet engine once put under any sort of load. I have yet to make this card audible (over anything else anyway) and it remains quite cool. 4GB of DDR5 ram is complete overkill currently but it's good futureproofing. Played battlefield 4 and although it's a AMD title I still got 70-90fps on ultra settings in huge outside battles it may drop to 50-60fps but still very playable. Never brought a Palit product before but I got to say you got a customer if you keep this up! Yeah get one!

After a few years away from PCs I returned a few years back due to an unexpected Bitcoin windfall, which I promptly spent on 2 AMD 6990s - which were ideal for mining more coins.
As a side effect of this, my love of PC gaming got re-ignited whilst mining profits per kwh went over a cliff - and my FPS were mind-boggling.
Sold off one 6990 leaving the other one for my new-found-love of PC gaming, and was happy as the proverbial Larry until it recently went *poof* and left me with a dead PC.

So, enough Back-story, and onto the essence of my GPU upgrade quest.

Your first decision is AMD vs nVidia - for BTC mining AMD spanks mVidia, but that's no longer my concern.
What I wanted was a decent GPU to hammer games and here nVidia is stomping out ahead. For the cost per frame there's not much in it, BUT I was now valuing silence as well and nVidia has this one sewn up (2 6990's pulling over a KW from the PSU is toasty in winter, and requires headphones to play a game).

So, nVidia it is. Titan is a f'in ridiculous price (bluntly, single-core cock-waving from nVidia). So it was down to a 760, 770 or 780.
The 770 resides in the eternal sweet-spot of excellent performance, for not quite the "paying for the best performance at all costs" market.

So, which 770? Well from my POV I clearly now wanted a 770 - so my next criteria was which one? Something quiet (lots of fans), which is not the reference board. By way of explanation, I'm 36 years old and want a PC I can play games on that isn't decked in windows, LEDs blah blah (for context my new GPU was placed in a Corsair 550D case, with a H100i cooler - both of which are pretty damn good).

For the price you can't go wrong, 4GB of RAM, a 770, and runs very silent and cool.

The idle fan speeds (30%) aren't silent, they are actually a touch louder at idle than my EVGA GTX580, but they do run very cool and when you push the card it doesn't noticeably make much more noise where the 580 would sound like it was taking off. Has a blue LED which is pretty annoying because you can't control it via the NVIDIA control panel, but otherwise it's a solid card. I guess I would have preferred quieter idle noise, but I'll get used to it.
