I decided on the GTX 770 after spending countless hours researching the best card for me. Since this was my first ever build, I decided not to go for the 780 since it was (at the time) £100+ more for not a huge performance increase. If you like playing your games at Ultra/max settings then this is the card for you! Smooth gameplay at max settings, quiet, efficient fans and no problems so far. 5/5 from me!

I was originally going to buy the MSI version but it was £30 more and it had a custom board. It took me a very long time to decide on this board and im glad i got it.

Pros:
►VERY quiet
►Runs cool
►Very good value
►Like any other 770, it can max out just about any game at 60fps 1080p.

Cons:
►A bit long - it just about fit inside my Zalman Z11 plus.
►No free game included ;(

Frames on ULTRA settings 1080p
Bioshock infinite: Avg: 86.027
Skyrim: Locked at 60fps - Min: 59 with 2k textures and about 20 other mods.
Witcher 2: 70-80fps. No ubersampling. Sometimes drops to around 60 but it never dips below for longer than a few seconds.

Fantastic graphics card for a gamer on a budget!

Having just built my own PC, I was torn between blowing the budget on a GTX 780 or staying in budget and grabbing the 770. I made the right choice for me with the 770!

For a 1920x1080 gamer the 770 will play any modern game on Ultra without problems, only if you want to have higher resolutions will a 780 be needed. So if you are like me and not sure which to buy, stick to the 770 if you don't plan on having super high resolution gaming.

For the price difference from the Palit card to other manufacturers, the differences can't be noticeable. This card comes with decent software to assist you overclocking and the coolers do a good job of keeping the card cool. (Played BF4 on Ultra most of yesterday and temperatures didn't go above 43 degrees!)

So if you're looking for an excellent graphics card for modern gaming on a budget, you can't go wrong with this card!

And in the future you can always SLI it :D

60fps at least in multiple 2014 games, no noticeable drops, but fairly loud under high load. i52500k 3.4ghz, 8gb ram, standard HDD. Definitely worth the money.

I bought this card to go into my new gaming pc as I didn't rate upgrading to a ps4. I'm running this card with an i5 3470 and 8gb of ram, and it blows any modern day console graphics out of the water. When playing bf4, cod ghosts, actually any of the latest releases, I can run these games on ultra at 1080@60fps without any glitches or slow downs. The card runs nicely in my Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced and is a must for any pc gamer looking to upgrade or build their own pc gaming rig. I would definitely recommend this graphics card to anyone.

But on a more detailed note - the card can pull off all of the games I played on maximum quality. My only reservation about the card is a high pitched whine that the card produces when under heavy load, and is the reason for 4 star rating.

I do appreciate that this may be a production flaw and only related to my card.

This really is a super card. Having upgraded from a 2 x GTX 275 in sli configuration, the technology has clearly moved on leaps and bounds which is obvious not only from the performance level this card achieves, but from the noise and heat perspective too.

● Price - at the time of purchase, this was the cheapest GTX 770 I could find, representing a superb balance between decent performance in modern games/new tech and cost. The next step up in the Nvidia range - for my casual to regular gaming purposes - is just a step up in price point too far.

● Performance - significant increase from this single card over my existing sli gtx 275's. A quick search engine visit using the terms 'Palit gtx 770 performance benchmark' should give you an indication of the excellent performance this card offers. If you're a frame rate buff, you'll find all the fps figures you need to figure out if this card is right for you, but if you're just more concerned with whether it will run new games without juddering, freezing and crashing - as a general rule at mid 2014 - it'll do just fine.

● Reliability - having thrown most things at it, throttling for extended periods of many hours at a time, I haven't had a single crash, blue screen of death or incidence of overheating - it has done a grand job.

● Packaging / Presentation - the Palit box itself was a safe and secure environment for this beast of a card to be stored in. Inside the box, the card presents itself in an antistatic bag snugly fit into a hardish dark foam surround. It is presented as a premium product and isn't just thrown into a random plastic bag in the vague hope it'll reach its destination in one piece.

i had this twice and 1 i had developed a coil whining noise after the 2nd use very loud and annoying the 2nd glitched out alot when playing games for over 2hours when i say glitched out i mean gave me a screen error telling me there's no display driver present , anyhow when it wasnt giving me random unnecessary errors it handle all games on ultra settings..i sent both back and will probably wait and buy a gtx 780ti or r9 290x,since im not really gaming that much untill theres games i wanna play atm till the late winter i may even save up and wait for nvidia's 800 series next year
