After three years of near constant use, my nVidia Geforce 8500 GT video card broke down. I ordered the nVidia GeForce 9500 GT as a cheap replacement.
The card arrived well packaged from Amazon and was easy to install. There was no installation diagrams, but a trained chimp could do the job blind while smoking a cigar so no worries there.
I want the installation disc as recommended by nVidia and found that it caused my PC to crash upon initial use. With second boot everything went smoothly however.
I don't use my PC for gaming, so I can't comment on its effectiveness, although I have been informed it will run all current gen games on the Steam service including Crysis on medium settings.
If you are looking for a graphics card with an eye for gaming however I would suggest you look elsewhere. While this card is a good value proposition now, its likely to become redundant within the next year or so. There are better cards on the market and you may find those more future proof.
I was pleased to see that this rendition of the 9500 is fan-less. A plus since!
