I'm delighted to find out that Red Snapper are snapping again after a long break. Pale Blue Dot is more jazzy than before, with more focus on traditional instruments and particularly more saxophone, but they still play straight, compact and energetic and as before the phantastic drummer holds things together. Some of the material is in a lighter mood this time which you may like or dislike. I'm pretty happy with it because again they come up with something surprising and fresh without letting their strength go over board. Ah, and strictly no voices this time (which again you may like or dislike...).
