Fun product to test on your colleagues and anyone you don't particularly like or wish to annoy but the shock mechanism does not last very long.

The idea of this is to have stuff inaccessible for a while to help your willpower not give in to temptation. Set the timer, turn it on and any attempt to open the lid will result in a slight, but nasty schock. It did not take me long to defeat this item. The locking mechanism consists of two locking clamps that grips the top of the clear plastic. But this plastic narrows so little that the clamps can barely hold the lid closed at all. I could easily open the lid by turning the lid till the seam lined up with the locking clamps, and bingo the lid was off. At first I was upset, but seriously I cannot except much at this price. It can also be defeated by wearing gloves or pressure on the middle of the clear plastic. In short, it's a toy. But I would love to see a more serious take on the matter.
