This cunning device is guaranteed to raise a few eyebrows as the After Eights come round. Not to mention induce mild panic among your guests. Designed to test reaction time (and punish the inebriated, slow or feeble) it not only looks like the head of Medusa - it has an equally frightful sting in its tail. Timing in this game, as in life itself, is key. As two, three or four players grasp their controllers, perspiration begins. And never ends. Press the start button and the terror increases. As the dreadful music abruptly stops and the base unit goes to green, all participants must press the button on their controller. It's hugely best not to be the last to do this. For an electrical impulse generator then sends a wave of energy coursing towards the loser, who receives a nippy but harmless jolt. Suspense is one thing. Turning-up the agony is quite another. There are two devilish modes to this work of wickedness. A recent modification has added 'Extreme' mode, where only the fastest escapes the shocking punishment. Up to three losers take a hit, time after time. It's for only the quickest witted and twitchiest fingered among you. A game to be feared and admired. Dreaded and anticipated with equal intensity. This is a great game for those drunken nights. Had loads of fun, but be careful, when you're in a sober state, it actually really hurts.

Bought this as a fun game for post christmas dinner.
Most of the family had an absolute hoot as the suspense is hilarious.
The only problem was that some more nervous family members just could not be persuaded to try it, and not necessarily the youngest.

An excellent toy for parties! We used it on New Years Eve, and despite the shocks making you jump, the kids loved it. The worst bit is the build up with the toy making eerie music before the big shock. But great fun although I wouldn't let young children use it (as advised by the manufacturer) as the shock makes you jump quite a lot. Good all round toy, and despite being thrown to the floor in error after a shock, still is in one piece!

Oh this is funny - everytime we play it - laughs are heard all around. Perfect as a stocking filler - does hurt a little though!
