For Hetty is the miniaturised pink Civil Partner of Henry the ever-faithful vacuum cleaner. Hetty is a touch more feminine than her red opposite number, but no less capable. I absolutely adore Hetty! She sits on my desk and sucks up all the crumbs, ash and other bits that menace my laptop. I've even used her to suck bits off my clothing. She's great, resilient even. She's fallen off the desk top a couple of times and been completely unscathed.

This is a cute little battery-operated vacuum cleaner which can be used for sucking up those desk crumbs and dust piles seem to gather in the corners and under the edges of computers and printers.
It comes with a number of "tools" - a slightly flexible hose extension (17.4 cm in length), a solid straight extension tube (8.5 cm), a solid, but slightly bent, extension tube (8 cm), a flat end tool (base 4.5 cm by 1.4 cm), and a crevice tool (4.5 cm by 4 cm).
Little Hetty herself is 10.5 centimetres high with a 10 cm circumference and is 11 cm from the rear axle to "nose".
It requires 3 AA batteries to operate it and though it is not as strong as a proper vacuum cleaner (well it's a desk toy after all) it will pick up crumbs and dust providing you remember to keep the nozzle end at a slight angle. If you run it flat to the table/desk it will not pick up. Once you have this slight angle Hetty works perfectly.
She will never take the place of a dust cloth but those corners and edges you just can't get to manually, she does a nice job.
Hetty is a wonderful icebreaker; and a look at her happy smiling face can help to relieve those stressful at work moments, but you might want to consider locking her in your desk overnight, or you could come in the following morning and find it had gone "missing" - such is its attraction.

This is a great little device that actually does what it says on the box, sucks up dust off your worktop. And it is undeniably cute in appearance too. I bought this for my Wife as she uses a full size one at work, and she loves it. It is really well made, and is capapble of sucking dust and other small particles off your desktop. Well worth the few pennies asked to have a little gem in your possession.

Novelty gift!
It is a gift so I can't comment on how well it works but it looks good and my friend will love it. It took over 2 weeks to arrive though which wasn't ideal.
