Ok, I know it is just a backpack thay should get me going from poing A to B with my laptop. I use backpacks for biking / trekking etc etc so straps / ventilation / back support / waterproof material is important to me.
Got new big laptop and needed good backpack, friend recommended Pakuma k3 as he had previous version of this backpack. I bought it and as some of the reviews quality of the product is kind of dissapointing.
Pros:
Size - really big open space plus 2 pockets and 2 open mesh side pockets. Enough to keep : kindle / tablet / power supplies / 17" laptop + power supply and some cables.
Cons:
Size - despite big size there is only 1 divider (laptop sleve) and one open big space what in bag so big with massive space if you throw all listed above hardware plus some documentation it WILL get messy....no easy access to the bottom part of the bag.
straps - not very soft, filled with some sort of hard foam, doesnt feel / look breatheable at all
back support - ... no such thing if youre looking for it, backpack lays flat on your back so there is no ventilation.
zippers - are not smooth takes some force to zip / unzip the bag (not sure if that feature or bug)
no rain cover - i cycle to work a lot and used to have it in all of my backpack (placed in small pocket on the bottom of the backpack) this one doesnt have it.
Havent tried if it is waterproof yet.
Overall big packpack with loads of space , not ergonomically desinged, cheap material and finish. It does the job but ... for the price you can get better spec.
UPDATE: (April 2012) i used it since October 2011 and this thing started to fall apart. top pocket zipper slider broke, internal material in top pocker ripped and whatever i put in it lands in the main bag... straps start to come off the main backpack on the stiching... overall not happy at all.
