Purchased for my (nearly) 80 year old Mother, to keep her busy. She prefers to use gel pens and has a wallet that includes plain, metallic, glitter and pastel colours (purchased from W.H.Smith). She gives this book 3/4 stars, as it is more complicated than the Mandela designs she prefers. She really had to concentrate when colouring them in. Having said that, she did enjoy doing them.

It's been a long time since I did some colouring, an NLP practitioner recommended doing something I did as a kid to switch off and enjoy myself and looking back I was always colouring. I used to buy books of fabulous geometric printed designs in WHSmith but have not been able to locate these (we're talking 35 years ago now!). The paisley patterns are a very good starter, I just wish the lines weren't so thick/dark - lines printed in a soft grey would be preferable.I guess the black lines are good if your eyesight isn't so good.

Paisley Colouring book
Nice book, nice designs, but didn't realise the designs were hand-crafted and lines were sketchy and irregular. Daughter didn't mind though.

I've found this little book to be very useful as a source of designs. There are some lovely pages to inspire freehand work.
