These are good spanners , made of a tough metal that takes a fair amount of force and doesn't bend .Having 'totalled' a cheap metal bike spanner trying to get a nut loose I bought these and, with a bit of help from WD40, managed to get the job done with no damage to the spanner, despite having to exert quite a lot of force. I can conclude that with proper treatment (and not so many unreasonably tight nuts) these spanners could last a lifetime!

They are stamped out of light-weight metal, so I don't expect them to last forever, but they appear to be well made - they fit perfectly. Try finding a complete set of cone spanners for less! Top value.

I was hugely disappointed when these arrived to find that they are such poor quality. Each of the two identical spanners is about 3mm thick, so that you can hardly get any purchase on a nut, and a single failed attempt at a rotation cut the nut and scratched the spanner. Each end has two sizes in it - the sizes on the end are particularly bad. I would not have been surprised to see these in the pound shop, and for this much money I am shocked at the quality. I have tried to return them, but couldn't because "For safety reasons, items that use flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned to Amazon.co.uk".

Complete waste of money.

These are way to thick. I have a standard shimano hub but with these spanners there isn't enough clearance between the free hub, come nut and spacer to use them. My only solution was to use a dremel and grind a portion of the spanner so that it would fit

These spanners are surprisingly good quality for the money. I've used them repeatedly and so far with no problems. Lightweight too. Would recommend.

only used it once, but it feels strong and you get two of each size, so if one bends then you still have the other. pleased wth it and do recommmend

These hub cone nut spanners are made to a high standard and a good quality steel, and at the price they represent great value for money.
