The most stunning luxury bed linen of Jasmine silk is made by supremely high quality, 100% 19 Momme Finest and Seamless Mulberry Charmeuse silk, which has a 400 thread counts so it feels exquisitely soft, drapes beautifully, and perfectly smooth too. 19 Momme silk is the smoothest, creamiest, and shiniest type of silk. They are more durable than the standard 12-16 momme and sandwashed habotai. Warning on Habotai silk is some suppliers sand was the silk to make it even softer. This greatly reduces the durability of the linen. For this reason we do not recommend sand washed silks at all. I just received my silk pillowcases from Jasmine Silk. They were promptly dispatched and I'm extremely pleased with them.
I didn't know what to get - silk or satin, both receive good reviews so I researched the subject a bit more. Silk is a natural fibre so I assume it's better for hair and skin than satin. Most satins have polyester in them which I didn't really like.
These pillowcases are made from Mulberry silk which is supposed to be the softest and most appropriate for pillowcases and bedding in general. The stitching on them seems study and Jasmine silk also carries Oxford style silk pillowcases (which I liked even more but they were a bit more expensive).
I've seen anything from 16 momme to 21 momme but read that 19 momme is the best in a pillowcase. Lower momme being too flimsy and higher being less soft. These are perfect and I highly recommend them. The colour is an attractive pearly white, lovely. When I tried my 100% cotton pillowcases after trying the silk ones, it felt like sleeping on sandpaper.

when i read the review that it can help with your hair i thought no chance.for years ive woke up to curly unruly hair,i can straighten it one day and sleep on it and wake up with frizz and curls.i didnt put a comment on until i had washed my hair a few times and slept on it and can you believe it,my hairs stayed straight and silky.im so happy,its great no going back,and my straighteners can be put away too.

great product, good quality and good price. I no longer wake up with 'static hair'. Plus after a trip to the hairdressers the lovely blow-dry sheen they create seems to last longer. Maybe I'm mistaken? Either way I'm happy.
