Amazon Verified Purchase
Two solid steering wheels of different colours. The wii controller (without nunchuck) has to be removed from the silicon housing to be used. This seems standard.
The wheel has an independent motion tilt switch (which you can hear rattle if you shake the empty wheel). When you put batteries in the wheel (yes, in addition to the Wii controller) the wheel will rumble and screech as you turn it: these can be turned off, and if you are playing a game like F1 2009 you will want to as otherwise both the Wii controller and the wheel are screeching and rumbling.
My only issue is that a genuine controller has to be inserted carefully: it's a snug fit as it needs to be for the controller to stay in place, but if you push the controller all the way into the recess (as you might imagine you do) the IR sensor is partially hidden by the wheel. Essentially, the hole for the IR sensor seems to be in the wrong place. This is easily remedied by easing the controller out of the wheel slightly to align the sensor with the hole. It still fits snugly, and doesn't stick out at all.
I don't have any other wheel to compare this to, but I don't regret this purchase.

Fun:
These are the only vibrating wii wheels I cound find and, as an added bonus, they also make a screeching sound when you turn them. Batteries come with the pack which is helpful and both the vibration and screeching noise function can be turned off either both at the same time or one on and the other off. So it can be an ordinary wii wheel or a vibrating one.....it's up to you!
Hours of fun with the kids and much better than the usual boring plastic wheel. Nice silicon covered handles to give you extra grip. Nice product!

Fun:
This is the first wii wheel that I have come across that vibrates when you turn it and makes a tyre screeching sound. Great! It has a mute button as well as an on/off switch so you can switch off both functions which is useful if you just want to use it as a wheel.
The grips on the side are comfortable and the wii remote fits snugly into the compartment and there is no rattling or danger of it falling out. Nice quality throughout.
