I work as a Pottery teacher at Windover Art Studio in Bangor, Maine. We have a kids camp and I used this book and others to inspire the children to work on glazing more complex patterns. This book has contributed to some of the best work I have ever seen the children produce. It is easy for even an young pottery student to accomplish and uses very little materials. Some materials that the book recommends can be semi-expensive for us since we are a non-profit group. Although most amateur potters can afford the simple and easy supplies under a budget of $25.00. The ideas are truly brillant and easy to replicate; I HIGHLY recommend this book for ceramics artist using both preformed molds and/or pottery created on the wheel. If you are looking to start up painting ceramics to sell, I suggest this book for quick and easy ideas to reproduce on your pieces.
