By pebo
Format:Paperback
Lee Hammond works in a forensic team at her local police department and gets involved in drawing portraits of wanted people. Consequently she is very precise and dimensionally correct. She measures the distance from nose to mouth, nose to eyes, places top of ear in line with eye brow but there is little emotion in her portraits. Her book has taught me, in great detail, how to construct a face but it looks almost exactly like a photograph when I have finished. I don't want a photograph - I want a painting.

So Lee Hammond - good teacher, unemotional artist.
