Inspiring 26 Feb 2009
Format:Paperback
For anyone with horses who are overweight, suffering with laminitis, cushings, insulin resistance, poor feet, and general malaise, or indeed any horse or pony, this book is definately worth a read. It makes so much sense, is easy to read, is enthusiastic, and so inspirational. It gave me a lightbulb moment. It is a bit brief for my liking, but the information is sound, and based on many years of experience as a farrier, and study of horses in the wild - and let's face it, horses really are not meant to live in square flat fields eating grass all day, or be living in the confines of a stable for long hours. Have a read and let your imagination run wild!

Out with the old and in with the new. Paddock Paradise turns everything we thought we knew about horse management upside down. Everything Jamie Jackson says makes complete sense. I have implemented as much as I can with my own horses and the difference to them is amazing. They are healthier and happier horses.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Goodbye square grassy paddocks; Hello Paddock Paradise.

Your horse will thank you for buying this book and implementing its ideas.

It's a bit pricy at £26.95 for such a small book, but really is worth every penny. Not only to show you how to optimise your precious land to get the most out of it for your horses' welfare, but because it gives a clearer insight into herds and bands and how horses behave amongst themselves too.

If you keep horses, barefoot or shod, read this book.
