Paddington at the Rainbows End,
By Patrick Nicholas (Cheltenham UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Paddington at the Rainbow's End (Paperback)
I bought this book under the misapprehension that it was one of the books in the series written by Michael Bond and illustrated by Peggy Fortnum. In fact it was in the series of Paddington Picture books. It related how Paddington went shopping to see how many different colours he could see. It was beautifully illustrated and through the text and pictures the character of Paddington shone through. I felt that the book would be ideal for a young person who was being helped to learn the names of colours or someone learning to read. I have only given it four stars because, at 71, I do not fall within that age range.

great book for children,

This review is from: Paddington at the Rainbow's End (Paperback)
I both this for my toddler almost a year ago and he still asks for it regularly. Unlike some books destined to help young children learn colours, this one has a pleasing albeit simple storyline. We have been using it to practice colours for a while, and it is both fun to read and easy to use. Overall, a great buy.
