Product Description

Paddington is introduced to younger readers in these attractive picture books, starring one of the world’s best-loved characters, Paddington Bear, who is celebrating his 50th anniversary.

When Paddington Bear goes to the beach, nothing goes quite according to plan … especially when, one by one, he is joined by ten hungry seagulls. Will Paddington's lunchtime snack be safe?

2.0 out of 5 stars no story line really, 24 Jun 2011
This review is from: Paddington - King of the Castle (Paperback)
Having already purchased another book in this series dealing with colours, I thought this one wold be just as good. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. The illustrations are just as pleasant but the storyline is dead boring and I don't think this is very useful to work on numbers as all you can count are seagulls appearing one after the other. My toddler who loves most fo the other books in this series never takes this one off the shelf spontaneously, even though he often pages through or asks for the other ones. I would not recommend this product as an introduction to numbers and counting.
