I now have three of these in various locations around the house. The brackets are made of plastic, but are very strong. When these arrived I was suprised just how small they are, but they do the job perfectly.
You can use the bracket to hold your iPad in either horizontal or vertical. You can also use it to hold your iPhone in landscape.
I found it really easy to install, simple matter of locating ideal position and drilling two holes. The iPad sits about an inch off the wall and looks fantastic in either orientation.
Imagine if you had automated lighting, curtains, heating etc and used the idevice as the main controller. Mount this at the entrance of your house, fantastic. I use the iPad with my Slingbox and use it as a portable TV beaming Sky to the parts of my house where there is no TV with Sky.
A little pricey for what it is, but neverthless an excellent item, recommended.

I tend to charge my iPad on the kitchen table, but was getting increasingly worried about leaving it in the 'spill zone' with kids about. So I spent some time looking for something to mount my iPad on the wall out of the way. After a bit of research I found two options, one was the pad bracket and the other was a larger mount that gripped around all the edges. Looking for something small and unobtrusive, the pad bracket was an easy choice and it was backed up by lots of good reviews and videos online. The final deciding factor was it being available on Amazon so easy to return if it didn't work out!
When the package turned up I was a little disappointed at first. There was no packaging as such, just the bracket in a plastic bag with some screws and bit of card with a link to the install instructions online. But, what was I expecting, better that than the usual blister packs which I can't stand; and more environmentally friendly. I guess you just come to expect more packaging for a product of this price! In fact, the bracket is just as it looks in the picture, is good quality, and the installation is simply a case of screwing it to the wall.
In use the bracket holds the iPad firmly in either orientation. If you push the iPad it will rock back, but then I don't expect to be doing much typing on it when it's on the wall. It's now in the perfect postion for charging and using as a photo frame.
My only critism is it's a little expensive, but I don't suppose the main costs come from the materials. It's well made and certainly worked out a lot cheaper than trying to make my own. Recommended!

Very expensive for a simple plastic moulding - probably costing only a few pence to produce - but a very effective product that works perfectly. Well designed, simple to install and very unobtrusive in any location. The bracket is study, yet it allows the iPad to be lifted in and out of its mount with ease. The iPad power switch, speaker outlets etc., remain accessible if you wish to use the tablet computer whilst held in its cradle. Like other reviewers, I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

simple but effective
really good and simple docking station, enabling you to remove or rotate the ipad easily and well worth having. easy to fix as well....
