This has a 3 dial combination lock which is TSA approved which means that it can be safely opened and relocked by TSA (Transport Security Administration) luggage inspectors in all US commercial airports.

The lock has an indicator window that indicates if you luggage has been opened and inspected by TSA agents.
Baggage Constrictor
The StrapSafe features "Baggage Constrictor" technology which means that the strap cannot be loosened when locked.
Warranty
The warranty for this product covers the product being free from workmanship and material defects for a period of two years from date of purchase.

Worked like a dream. Used it for a trip to the states recently. On the way out no one opened it, but on the return trip it was opened by American security and the strap changed colour as described, and we were still able to open it.

The quest is over - I have finally found a luggage strap that works and is easy to use. Most of the other straps need some fiddling about to tighten up (not only my onion, I took them to work and challenged colleagues, even shop kippers and not could do it with one hand). This one can be done exactly that way. Close the lock, and then tighten the strap with ONE hand. Brilliant. And it stays closed as to loosen it one needs to unlock it. Why, oh why did I not check PackSafe first. It would have saved me a lot of time (and money) on buying rubbish products. This one is really excellent...

The Pacsafe Strapsafe 100 TSA Luggage Strap Yellow/Black basically does exactly what you need. It's well made, easy to fit and it stays tight. I think it's worth paying that bit extra for it as it should last a long time.

Works well, if a little gaudy, but it let's you spot your bag good and early! The lock is big, so be warned, if you a after a small lock look elsewhere.
