Never used rollers before, but with a little advise from a friend:- start at the top/crown of the head, lift hair to be curled into upright position and use roller to comb hair, when you reach the end of the length of hair keep using to roller to pull up and slowly wind round the hair. Was easy when i got the hang of it, and my daughters hair looked lovely and had a natural curl when finished.
However being a complete novice, i had bought a selection of sizes of the velcro rollers and found that on my daughters long hair any roller less than 4cm just tangled and was a nightmare to get out. (was even tempted to get scissors out at one point, so be warned small sizes for short hair only)
Otherwise great product, with a bit of practice i think i should be able to set a whole head of hair quickly, and may even be able to move onto proper rollers with a pin, as i think i would be able to get a tighter curl. But for now the velcro helps get the technique right.

Brilliant rollers for a beginner. I bought them after having had my hair styled with them at the hairdressers and thought I'd give it a go at home! My hair is quite thick when blow dried and so with these rollers I got lovely, full-bodied curls. However they didn't stay in my hair very well and I had to use a mixture of hair clips and bobby pins to make sure they stayed in place, so maybe its worth investing in some clips as well. 12 is just enough for my hair but anyone with quite thick hair should maybe consider buying another pack. Overall this product is perfect for anyone wanting lovely, natural curls who can't be bothered with tongs or heated rollers. And delivery was brilliant too, arrived the day after I ordered them. Bonus!

I love these rollers very good size for making loose curls and giving volume to the hair, they are good quaility, my hair although fine is long and there is loads of it and the rollers got a good tight grip in my hair and stayed put well, I would recommend exellent value for money.
