These guys did one awesome track on the (awesome) Fila Brazilia "Another Late Night" comp. (Called Nuclear Symphony - spectacular)
Anyway, to the music - some slightly excessively "clever" use of sampling (some geneticists I think...) but much subconcious-invading grooviness (...) - by which I mean, for example I've got it playing at the moment, and I'm not really paying attention to it except for the fact that my head was actually bobbing up and down and my foot tapping along...
Some very cool Lalo Schiffrin samples or in-the-style of's (he did the soundtracks to loads of great movies like Bullitt) nice jazzy stuff in there, some real deep-dark tones to keep it sharp, some great dancy breaks - really quite a mix but a very coherent overall impression. I've given it a four, but I do have a feeling it might deserve more after a few listens.
If you like stuff like K&D, Groove Armada and Fila B. I reckon this is a sure-fire winner.
have fun - H
