The Pacsafe secure backpack & bag protector series are the "Fort Knox" of security featuring Pacsafe's Ultimate Lock & Leave system making your bag slashproof, snatchproof & tamperproof. The Ultimate Lock & Leave system is an eXomesh lightweight and slashproof high-tensile stainless steel cage that encases your belongings, locks closed and locks to a secure fixture with the integrated heavy duty stainless steel cable, proving maximum security for the traveller.
Easy to fit
The locating disc makes fitting the Pacsafe quick and easy, place the locating disc on the top of the rucksack or duffel bag and encase your bag in the mesh.
Locking beads
The polycarbonate locking beads on the heavy duty stainless steel cable offers variable tension adjustment allowing the Pacsafe to secure a range of luggage sizes.
Locking device
The Pacsafe's unique locking device is metal reinforced and made from high-impact resistant polycarbonate - the same laminate used in bullet-proof glass.
Padlock
The hardened shackle brass padlock is included with the Pacsafe bag protector, this enables you to securely fix your bag to a secure fixture.
The 120L Pacsafe is designed for large packs, medium sized packs with externally fitted gear, large duffels and soft-sided wheeled luggage. Perfect for loaded trips or extended touring. Whether you are on a long train journey, on an adventure holiday or simply sitting in a cafe waiting for your plane or train to arrive the Pacsafe bag protector will keep your belongings safe. It simply encases your luggage and allows you to lock it to a secure fixture so at times when it is difficult to keep your eye on your belongings you have the peace of mind to know that they are safe. Once you have reached your destination the Pacsafe Bag Protector folds away neatly in the handy carry pouch.
Please Note:
If you have external gear secured to your pack please add approximately 1000 inch cubed / 16L per item to the total pack volume.
The 120L pack protector is designed to fit backpacks, bags and luggage from 75L - 120L / 4600 - 7300 inch cubed.

I used this for several festivals over the summer and it's never let me down. You can hook it anyway you like to your tent and it's never broke or been broken into. This gives a piece of mind as you're out partying drunk at a tent miles away. We put all our booze, bog rolls and stuff like that in the net. The good thing about this is that if you pack enough heavy items into it, it's extremely difficult to cut off and 2 to carry away somewhere else without looking like an idiot by knocking someone's tent down!
PacSafeSecure Backpack & Bag Protector is for backpacks or bags and is a very useful anti-theft device. You put the cage over and around your backpack or bag, pull it tight and lock it safe. The 'Cage' cord also allows you to lock you bag to a pole, or seat, whatever is available, giving you peace of mind when travelling (train, bus or boat) journeys, so you can fall asleep without fear of your bag going 'walkies'! This is for large bags - up to 120L.
The complete set includes a foldable bag (with velcro and claps) where the contents reside, which includes the PacSafe lock, 2 keys and its holders, plus instructions. You can also use the item whilst walking through busy markets etc. to prevent bag slashers and take it off at your hostel or digs, or keep it on at your hostel to stop other people getting into your contents and making your bag lighter!

I purchased this item for a backpacking trip in eastern Europe. It was actually stolen during that trip (not due to any product flaws, I wasn't using it at the time!) and I would never consider purchasing another. It is weighty, and I found it time-consuming and awkward to use. Once in use, it must be removed in order to access the contents of your pack.
If I carried a lot of valuables in my pack, I might find this item useful. But as I do not, it was just an extra weight and a nuisance.
