I thought that this book was going to be a Dan Brown type book and it is, but it is not. It has a style all of its own. It is on the whole fas paced and the characters are well written. The plot is excellent and obviously well researched. This is the reason I gave it four stars instead of five. In places the explanations of the research are a tad long. This slows the pace down a bit in an otherwise high paced thriller. However, despite this, I would still recommend this book. If you like thrillers you will not be disappointed with this one.

Pure Vision is the definition of what every good thriller out there is defined by. Dynamic characters, a cutting-edge, unique plot; and twists and turns that keep the reader engaged from start to finish. What I really love about this book is the author's writing style; it's as if he has practically mastered the art keeping the reader in suspense. As you get deeper into the story, the author adds little hints and clues as to what may happen next - always leaving the reader wondering and guessing what is going to happen next.. Just when you think you've figured it out - another twist comes out of nowhere and leaves you wondering what the heck happened! I love it and I highly recommend it for any thriller fans out there, even the most critical ones out there will enjoy this

Pure Vision is a suspenseful thriller of the highest order. Other reviews reference the Da Vinci Code and they are right to, this has many of the same elements. What sets it apart is Ms Birney's very skillful storytelling that keeps up the pace whilst also being thoughtful and insightful. And it really is action packed, with meticulous attention to detail in theme, setting and plot. The writing style is very accessible, I found, and evocative, painting pictures as though you were watching a film. Highly entertaining whilst also being informative and thought provoking this is a story that you will race through reading and then ponder over for days. Absolutely recommended!

If you are looking for a thriller, that has political, religious and sociological implications as well as conspiracy theories, look no further. This book resembles the Da Vinci Code in many ways and has been a real pleasure to read. The author has done a marvellous job with well researched material that is well threaded throughout the book.

There is definitely a big kernel of truth that makes the story very intriguing and once you get into it, you will be part of it for quite a few days. It is as if the story comes alive.

You won't be disappointed. Recommended!!!

This book was just what I was expecting and more. It reminded a little of the lost symbol by Dan brown and this book is just as good as some of the really famous novels I have read. The story line is full of very interesting twists and turns and the book leads you on an amazing adventure. I love books of this type because you never quite know what’s going to happen on the next page.

This book is one of them books that you just cannot put down I was reading this book for hours and lost track of time you just get totally involved in what is happening. The way the author has written this book is truly brilliant the level of description that is in the story really helps you make the book come alive and lets you imagine what’s happening very easily.

I would recommend this book to everyone who is interested in this type story. The book is so well written and very easy to understand I found myself just wanting to read more and more this book is by far one of the best books I have read in a long time and that is the reason i gave it 5 stars.

A grand novel in every sense of the word, Pure Vision will have you hooked from the very first page. Wonderfully well written, the story bounds along at a terrific pace, with twists and turns at every corner.

The book has been likened to a movie; the author paints a vivid and detailed picture of characters and events. Personally, it reads to me like a TV Show, in the vein of Zero Hour; the end of each chapter leaves you eagerly anticipating the next 'instalment'.

I would recommend this book to fans of so many genres. A heady combination of politics and religion, Pure Vision is a tale of mystery that will leave you questioning long established beliefs.

Well worth a read.

The book centers around Maggie Seline, a reporter, who finds a controversial solution to the perpetual problems in the Middle East. It fuses the engaging topics of mythology, conspiracy and powerful artifacts, and sets it in the modern politics of the Israel/Palestine conflict. Which at the time of writing (and, I assume, the foreseeable future) is in the news every day.

There's action right from the get go, people mobilizing all over the world to grab artifacts, I was reminded of Indiana Jones; while the drama continues we start to become aware of the reason behind this new found interest in ancient history - the Middle East.
This is the first book of its kind that I've read with such current issues discussed; not just abstract parallels we can link to current situations, but the actual problem in the actual place, it even poses a solution!

Dramatic, exciting and so relevant, Pure Vision took me on a modern, fast paced adventure that I definitely recommend.

Far superior to any Dan Brown novel, read it straight from start to finish. The author is able to build a great story of mystery, you can really see the knowledge and understanding of the mysteries come out in the story. The result is a fantastic tale and also a tale to be learnt with a deeper meaning lodged in the storyline, you really get a feel for the characters as they battle the interested parties to get to the truth and how they deal with the result of that truth. The world is destined to change and only for the better, the writer keeps the pace of the book to a maximum as it builds to a spectacular ending. Five stars from me.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, I see mention of the Dan Brown and the Da Vinci Code in other reviews but I have to say I prefer this writer and book to them. The pace, the build up and character development are far superior and you get drawn deeper into this book with all the details and history drawn upon and researched by the author. The twists and turns that builds towards an amazing climax but even that ends with a warning.

My favourite line in the book is “I find it’s easier to tell the truth when you disguise it as fiction”, a real truism in this book.

Five stars for a well researched and well written book.

Pure Vision: The Magdalene Revelation is a thrilling novel bursting with unique infusions of conspiracy theories and ancient myths whilst engaging the reader with sudden twists. One of the main events in this book is the disappearance of Maggie Seline after she discovers a scheme that will threaten the oil industry. She then goes on to join Michael Sonada and together they attempt to stop the scheme. The thing I love most about this book is the plot and the setting as is it so unique and unlike anything I've read before. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it as I believe it to be well written whilst full of suspense.
